This really happened and I have a friend and a dog as witnesses... So, I saw this very good looking guy wearing a black kilt (beautiful legs, beautiful feet), when I said: "you look so stylish, I love your “skirt”. When he said: "thank you… and I love your… pants! Oh... a bit of sense of humor goes a loooong way :-) ps: the one above is being sold on Ebay.
As a driver, I am a danger for the streets of Portland. So, I decided to get on my bike and ride... That's what I do now. I ride... and ride... shaping up my body and mind. As I ride, I am able to see life as is. Everything, from nature to people, becomes more clear, more vivid, with a brighter tone when we are out and about, even if the sun is not out. This way, we can always smile and enjoy the true moments...
So, in this little world of ours, when we think we are doing something (great or bad) for others, we are really doing it for ourselves - hurting or smoothing things out. It's our call so we should answer it. In this mirror-like dance, we become monsters or angels... whatever/however we prefer to build our world in order to keep either tiny or make it huge. Then.... just feel how your body responds to.... your actions. If you can't hear yourself yet, make sure that in the long run, it will show. Namaste.
It is incredible that when I stop to see myself - how I am acting in life - I notice how much we all - as humans, react to other humans exactly how we are feeling toward ourselves. I = WE. For example: if I am mad with my relationship, a friend, my body, my crazy mind, I will - sooner or later - get back such madness to someone that can be anybody... including a neighbor (who has nada to do with you) but MYSELF! That's the general tendency of us all... we tend to blame others because of our own s**t. I have this friend who always says: "it's my own s**t, I will deal with it". So, for moments like these, I put myself (and my life) in perspective and start fighting my own flight, without hurting anybody - including myself.
I guess "truth" - as it is being told - has different sides or dimensions to it. As well as the stories have their own "little" lines (got you. here.. no lies). If a commom story is seeing from my perspective and yours, it will have two points of views, correct?! So, that's when everything goes back to being relative... E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G! Nothing is that great nor is too bad; nothing is too perfect without being a little damaged. That's life, I guess, and as is... And as I enjoy repeating myself, here I go again: JUST BREATHE, by Pearl Jam.
In his own words: "If you are afraid to fall, you fall because you are afraid". Last night, I had a dream that I was flying and for the first time, I was not afraid...
